Squadron Burgee Heraldry:
Our pennant features a lighthouse against a circular red background, on a triangular field of white with a dark blue border. This pennant had the distinction of becoming the first burgee authorized to a USPS Squadron by the USPS National Governing Board. The designation of a lighthouse on the burgee was chosen with the Fire Island lighthouse in mind because it was the most prominent feature of the Great South Bay and was visible from all directions on the Bay.
